New interview / shipping woes / GBBO:KOBQ imminent
I’m not sure how many people still see these below-the-fold announcements, but I will persist with them for now. Today, I have a new interview that I did with David Haller. I think it is one of the more interesting ones I’ve done; I talk about a few things that I haven’t before. And it’s text, so you can demolish it in about five minutes. I’ve pivoted to text. It’s the new thing. Everybody’s doing it.
ITEM! In other news, I’ve sent some more Savage Sword of Susan to Topatoco (and some NEMS 1968), as the last batch of Susans were lost by the courier. Hopefully these will arrive safely, as after the Thought Bubble convention I don’t have any more left. I’ll do another post when (if?) they’re available for sale.
ITEM! GREAT BRITISH BUMP-OFF: KILL OR BE QUILT is out in trade paperback in a week or so. More on that shortly.

Please do persist with these announcements, they are appreciated.
Text is the past. Text is the future. Text is all we need.
Reporting in that I have seen and read this post.
Text is so much more convenient than video or audio.
The Text must flow. The Text is life.
Love text.
That Great British Bump-Off trade paperback, will that be an omnibus edition of all chapters? I don’t know the lingo.
Thanks.
Yes, that’s the format, a collection.
Text before NeXT!
I was reading about Paul Rand’s design of the NeXT logo just yesterday, maybe text and NeXT are about level with each other in terms of my priorities.
Maybe I’m being too optimistic, but I’d like to imagine that the next “big thing” could happen at anytime.
Either way, it’s a great thing that you can sustain yourself with something so inspiring and creatively rewarding.
I’ve read your interview with David Haller, and it is indeed a good one.
I always find interesting the sober detachment that creators have for their productions (in this case I mean the characters specifically), with the circumstances of Tessa and Rachel, or the thing about aging in the Bad Machinery run, I never considered that.
But as I have the link for your comics on the splash page of my browser since more than 25 Years, I wish you to keep having a good time and sustain yourself with them until you like to! And thank you for the great reads during the years!
I got my copies of Savage Sword and the new NEMS from Page45 this week, and was chuffed as all get out (apologies for the possibly translatlantic mixup of idioms there). Thank you for the text update, v. much read and appreciated
I follow your RSS for the below-the-fold text. The comics are gravy.
Kidding! I come for the comics, but I do read the text!
Chiming in about a week late to say I, too, read text below the fold… eventually.
Re: shipping (and re-shipping), I hope you were able to get some kind of reimbursement. And fingers crossed for safe delivery.
Thank you Nimz. I have yet to hear how UPS will deny my claim for reimbursement but I’m sure they are putting their backs into it. As for the re-send, it is currently “delayed” for the 5th straight day so, er, don’t get your hopes too high :C
I imagine that Lottie ties her shoes with Gordian knots.
