Black Metal Simon was a powerful (if seldom seen) figure, who did have a slight return (or in real terms, an introduction) in Shelley’s first Giant Days appearance. I did eventually visit the Fantoft Stave Church in Bergen that black metaller Varg Vikernes burned down. It’s magnificent looking, and also made of good flammable wood.
