Well sure, and a POLITE person would not take someone else’s seat when they’ve gotten up for a few minutes. Is Andy a polite person? So far the evidence says no. On the other hand, maybe it’s just simple self-preservation on his part. I realize I only have two panels to base this on, but I’m getting the impression Donita is not a person you’d want to cross, ever.
Especially if she’s in the process of disposing of boiling water.

Pandemic was “a couple,” “a few,” or, if you’re truly unsure, “some” years ago. “A handful” would be stretching it. (I assume a handful of years would be at least five.) Several is pushing it. It can’t have been several years, it mustn’t ever be several years, several years is simply too many years since 2020.
The year 2020 by itself was a handful.
Since I usually translate “several” as “three”, ummmm, no – “several” years since 2020 is NOT too many.
