I’m always surprised by how many comments on my comics are “is this mystery figure [character I remember]?” I try never to solve a plot point by bringing back a character from years ago. I don’t find it very satisfying. I realise that some of this is because I’m a limited artist and background characters may duplicate shapes from established characters.
