Has Lottie ever had a romantic interest before or, indeed, expressed any interest in boys/men at all? I don’t recall; the fact that I’ve been following John’s work since the original incarnation of “Bobbins” doesn’t mean that I remember all of it. 😐 I thought that perhaps solving mysteries occupied every nook and cranny of her psyche, no room for romance or anything else.
