My favourite thing about this page is the two men having their conversation in the space over Lottie’s head. She’s inserted herself into the middle of events, but they don’t take her seriously. It’s a visual metaphor, right? yeah? WEW MINTAW.
Okay, I’m usually pretty good at decoding Lottieisms, but I have to admit that, “Wew mintaw,” has me baffled.

That’s what I figured it might be, though I would usually expect her to say “mentile.”
I googled it too, and got an AI telling me it was from a John Allison comic! Not helpful at all. Thank you, @Ronald. I couldn’t figure it out.
I was once in a similar situation as a kid – in a lift in Spain with two adult German men either side of me having a conversation in German that was quite inappropriate for a 12 year old to hear, from what I could make out. I knew enough German to make out some of it, but thankfully I also knew enough German to say ‘Meine Herren, es ist ein kind anwesend’. 😀
