I think there’s a missing second “to” in Claire’s dialog in panel 1. Unless I’m misreading, it looks like there should be a “to” between “have” and “send”.
Ah, that’s just compression being demonstrated. If you reach the end of the comic there’s a look-up table with a pointer from “to” back to Panel 1. Note that the Lottie algorithm would also have compressed “I’m going” and “I am going” if it wasn’t for the skillful use of contraction to beat compression (beats scissors). Doubleplus good use of language reduction.
An amendment has just been made!
Lottie lives in a PNG, so she’s able to use the puffer jacket to do Huffman compression and decompression on the world.
Bravo, Claire. You took the decision it took me half my life to make.
I choose to believe Claire is a devout Misesian who recognizes the LSE is compromised, and devotes herself to something more worthwhile, like backyard agricultural pursuits. Something which might feed her and hers.

Lottie could have pulled off more than 58% compression if she had gone lossy, but the artifacts in Claire’s clothes afterwards would have been vair itchy.
Claire obviously doesn’t travel much, so doesn’t know pack-ratting. If my wife’s experience is standard, petite womens’ clothing is space-compressible to an extraordinary level, perhaps this is a hidden property of the “P” designation on the tag?

After seeing Panel 1 I have decided that there’s a significant market for storage devices with THUS on them. It just sounds like a definitive “I have packed the contents for a reason”, rather than the usual “I have stuffed things in a box to take them out of my eye line and thereby avoid cognitive dissonance”. Yes! Sell this idea to Marie Kondo immediately.
Glad for Claire getting out of the heart of darkness that is geopolitics and global finance (and we get to see her cool Sherlock cape!). I’m intrigued by Lottie’s newly discovered humanitarian urges and where that takes her.
I choose to believe La Grote simply intimidated the luggage with her death glare.

Wait, we still don’t know what Claire’s new career focus in life will be that also takes advantage of her previous school credits.

I have a theory that Glym might actually be a clone bioengineered by Jobby.
