I saw one of those vans on a visit to the UK in the early 90s and really, really wanted one. I don’t think they were ever widely available in Canada though. Plus, being narrow and having a high center of gravity,
I imagine they could easily tip over sideways navigating the ice of “rutting season” or driving on very windy prairie highways.
