Also, I’m sure what might seem like a misstep on John’s part is actually just another case of his immaculate world building. I have no idea why the Germans of the SGRiverse have decided to appropriate Norwegian… cuisine as their own, but I’m sure it plays a crucial part in the plot of this series (and probably series to come).
