There was a US tv show based in New Orleans that starred an actor from there whose accent was so strong the show had subtitles

There seem to be a few Kiwi actors doing ok in US tv shows with decent generic US accents, but now also the character Victoria (Grace Palmer) in Animal Control who was allowed to play a Kiwi – so strange hearing a Kiwi accent in a US show but also very nice
