I used to work for the World’s Fair. Maybe one day I will talk about it. It has ceased publication in the real world, but like the ITV Chart Show, runs on forever in my cartoon universe.

Maybe it just moved online

It is barely extant now. They used to have a raft of mystifying publications.
Very pleasing Marvel Comics vibe to the Circus gang. All it’s missing is the hypno-wheel on the Ringmaster’s hat.
I was thinking exactly the same thing. Of course, you’d also have to replace the Tattooed Lady with a snake charmer, but she looks enough like the snake charmer in question that that doesn’t seem like a huge problem.
Even all grown up, Mildred makes some of the most deliciously wicked faces. Love that “my plan is working!” look in the last panel.
The thing I miss most in the disappeared WenTack story is the expression on Mildred’s face when she says “There were no consequences!”
That whole arc is full of so many great Mildred moments…”Mildred! The terrible chain of events you set in motion is on TV!” [overly excited expression] “coming! coming!”
And of course, “I’d say you’re an extremely fit mother” with a smug smile as Linton calls her a terrible person.
That “terrible chain of events ” moment is my all-time favorite Mildred moment. I actually posted it to my Facebook page when it originally showed up, confusing all my friends.
Could someone please direct me to the Wen-Tack strips? I’m apparently not intelligent enough to find them myself. Thank you.

Thanks very much. 🙂
What a trip down memory lane! Thanks for sharing these comics, I don’t even know the last time I read them.
John the bring back wentack army is growing…

It’s funny, I screenshotted that yesterday because it made me *howl*!
That looks suspiciously like a stuffed Archibald on the far left of Lottie’s shelf.
Just reading Bad Machinery for the first time. I concur, that is Archibald.
Who is that captivating rectangular gentleman with hat and pipe
That’s the award Lottie won in Wicked Things.
Ah curse my waiting for collected editions
This is an opportunity for Mildred to sharpen her detective skills by deducing how Lottie feels from contextual clues. The act of a true friend!
Looks like a nice group of friends ♡. I love how the strongman had a pair of wonderful
The strong man makes a second appearance (and a third!)
HOORAY!!!! It’s a mustaches love victory!!!!
Alternate title for today’s page : “BEEF”.
Let’s talk about that four colour palette in the circus panel. So good!
Quite the pose lottie put on panel 1. Stunner
