The fourth and final chapter of Solver: Wobbly Head (and the last Solver story until September) starts on Monday. Expect eight weeks of thrills, spills and rolling hills.

The minimalism mixed with Bad Charlotte taking up the entire background makes this kinda ominous
Fantastic work
Beatevilottie !
Great cover!
As Lottie becomes a puffer fish.
She’d better watch out that she doesn’t get puffed on by porpoises!
Bravo!
A perilous plunge in purple puffer.
Wow!
Lottie is still clueless?
In over her head, perhaps.
And not in the lovely Fleetwood Mac kind of “Over My Head”, either.
Ooh, this simultaneously fills me with delight and dread.
Lottie’s wettest, windiest day has gotten wetter.
Oh my, this is so exciting! I cant help but wonder if the last part will solve Wicked Things as well. You know when Miyamoto says « there are two of them » before dying?
That’s been solved already. He meant “there are two Lotties”. The real Lottie, and the person who’s been impersonating her.
And we know who that person is now. The only thing left is for the climactic showdown.
That’s a whole lotta Lotties.
I would like to see a bit of explanation as to why/how/when (we know part of all of these but I’d like to see details) EviLottie tracks down & assaults Miyamoto. Maybe we’ll get some of that story, or maybe we just have to infer it as part of the whole Evil Obsession, but either way, I’m on the edge of my seat! Which will get uncomfortable by June 6, I fear.
…
Waitaminit! She’s been banned from swimming!
No. She’s been banned from swimming POOLS.
She does not appear to be swimming, per se.
Sinking is still permitted.
I’m still hoping that the Bad Lot turns out to be Sonny.
Can’t believe you spoiled the big finale :C
This cover gave me an earworm that I certainly didn’t expect, but I’m not complaining.

Vocals by the lovely Ivie Anderson, from about halfway onwards.
Thank you for that fine earworm. I didn’t know that song. It’s great from a “golden age of jazz” angle, but the lyrics are kinda disturbing!
Well, a lot of jazz and blues was about having the blues, so .. Life could be incredibly rough for the music makers and performers as well as the listeners back then, so I guess songs like these helped them find an expression for their feelings, without necessarily describing a literal reality.
If there is an eyeworm-equivalent triggered by that marvellous image, mine would be this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ia6-5gC5ArM (maybe scope for a Tom Jones earworm)
I’m weirdly fixated on the fact that her shoes are untied. It’s probably not even relevant, but that’s where my head is.
Looking at the page titles, I’m guessing this happens on May 23, “Ploop.”
Untied shoes are good, means she can kick them off easier and not sink as fast.
Murder, she Grotte.
I just realized that this story will conclude on my birthday. It’s one of those big, “ending in a zero” birthdays for me (don’t want to dwell too much on which one)… kinda makes the whole thing feel even more ominous to me, especially considering the way the world’s going these days…
Ah. My birthday is “Hostile”. 67.
It ends a week after mine, which will be perfect for dealing with the sense of anti-climax.
Could this cover foreshadow a Reichenbach Falls scenario for the finale of Wobbly Head?
We’d better hope Lottie’s been practicing her baritsu!
