Album chart of the year 2020
Here are my albums of the year for 2020. A bad year for living but a good year for listening, that’s what I reckon. I spent a lot of time listening to old sounds that brought back better times, but also found a lot of comfort in seeking out new records.
I’ve made a Spotify playlist with selections from almost all the records here, but if you like it, remember to buy it because (almost) no one’s boiling any eggs with streaming cash!

Where’s Dr. Ladysounds’ commentary?
There hasn’t been commentary for a long time, sorry Joe.
This makes me extremely happy. And I miss Dr. Ladysounds too!!!
I request a giant playlist of ALL the lists. Do you have an intern? Maybe get one? Idk.
I’m terrible at keeping up with bands. Thanks for letting me know that there was new Semisonic released last year!
In addition to her own exceptional album, “Fetch the Bolt Cutters,” Apple appears on Dylan’s marvelous, “Rough and Rowdy Ways.” Two of my favorites of the year.
Yet, who would have expected to hear from A Girl Called Eddy after sixteen years? Delightful. Her self-titled debut, captivating and devastating, was my introduction to Richard Hawley. “Been Around” is as impressive as it was unexpected. Well worth the wait.
