Old, dead websites
I’ve had a few messages over the last week about unusual stuff in the RSS feeds for some of my less-used URLS – chiefly, bobbins.horse and destroyhistory.com. I let all my niche sub-site URLS go a couple of years ago. If you subscribed to those feeds, just delete them. The only up-to-date RSS feed I have ever used is the Badmachinery.com one, no matter which poorly thought out URL I might have been putting my comics up at.
This is my last word on really simple syndication (RSS), extensible markup language (XML), and irresponsible domain name purchase (IDNP) for the forseeable future.
I guess good thing i did a cleanup to just bad history a few months ago! Thank you for continuing to support us elders still using lost technology.
I for one enjoyed the mysterious and prolific ads for Vietnamese lottery picks. That’s the sort of joy you can only find by never deleting anything ever
I’m sure some day I will do something with webcomic dot cool … just the small matter of the tragic fiery explosion of the zeitgeist, oh the humanity!
And I will do something with thatsnice dot org, too. Some day.
Just want to upvote future RSS talk. Great standard. The web has changed for the worse in the last 15y as it had fallen out of favor.

I feel the same way at least once a week.
From what I can discern of your current organization (er, “organisation” in British) of comics in your websites, current stuff is in badmachinery.com and old stuff is in scarygoround.com, and having them in only two domains does make it somewhat easier to find things than when they were scattered over a larger number of them. It is a bit curious that Bad Machinery isn’t in badmachinery.com and Scary Go Round isn’t in scarygoround.com (or anywhere, apparently).

Now I’m kinda curious about what’s happening at steeple (dot) church — or if indeed anything is happening at all. And just like that, I’ve scratched that itch (got forwarded to expireddomains.com).
