SOLVER: LITTLE DAYS starts on Monday
Happy new year! After a seven-month break, Solver returns on Monday for what I hope will be a full year of adventures. My first job is to complete and publish volume 2, with the Wobbly Head saga making up the first portion, and three single-issue (but connected) adventures rounding it out. The first one, LITTLE DAYS, starts on Monday.
The whole issue will be downloadable in PDF format for my Patreon subscribers on Sunday. And as a new year begins, I’d like to thank all those subscribers. Your support keeps this comic running; without you, I am not sure it would be. I am immensely grateful.

LITTLE Days? Are you sure? They might be Giant.
Happy New Year! Amazing cover, can’t wait to be able to understand what the meaning is. The only thing clear is that Claire looks unhappy, Glenn is avoiding to watch her and Lottie seems happier than ever. Also, a cat!!!
And someone in glasses, peering angrily from behind a beard. It’s almost certainly Dean, but on the off chance it’s Blossom Cooper. I’m going to get on the record now as the first one to guess Blossom Cooper.
I believe you should have gone with your first thought. But I understand the charm on hitting a long-shot take.
Blossom Cooper and Dean Thompson’s time-travelling love child? I mean, may as well shoot for the (more-than-half-full?) moon if we’re making long shots.
If Blossom is here, Shauna can’t be too far away… fingers crossed.
This makes me think of the gigantic hyper-realistic Jeff Bezos Face rowboat made by Bobby Fingers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGhcSupkNs8

Happy 2026 everyone!! I’m very excited for the next Solver adventure and cannot wait to find out; Who?! Who is this gigantic bearded man who requires the same amount of tidying up as a house?! And who is the cat?! Also glad to see our heroes again, and Lottie looking especially proud in her trademark purple puffer!!
I see Dean hasn’t forgiven our friends for not filling him in on Lottie’s impersonation in Wobbly Head.
I still think that title, “Little Days”, is amazingly clever.
Brian? Could it be our werewolf friend?
It could be, but the beard length seems to exceed the hair length which is quite unlike Warlock Brian. But I suppose we’ll have to wait and find out.
Brian, as last seen, pre-scratching, has similar head-hair and facial-hair cuts and grooming. Eye colour is also a good match (visible when Brian is taking care of Tom’s fibre cable a few pages earlier). Glasses, not so much, but it’s at least plausible his glasses style could have changed. Clearly the normal-sized head that the little Solvers are bustling around is that of Wilfred E. Murstadt III (aka WEM3). I make this prediction with 100% confidence.
… that it is wrong.
Don’t sell yourself short. Stranger things have happened. On a regular Scary-go-round basis.
Miniature Solvers bustling about a normal-sized head is only plausible interpretation, considering the title of this issue. My con statement was only meant to be regarding the naming of the one to whom the head belongs. I can see how what I wrote yesterday could have been misleading.
Wait, could this be… the promised return of Bobby Problems?
OHO
That’s what I was thinking, as well.
The thumbs-up Lottie speaks to me on a deep level
Yay! Glam Duranduran is back!
Could this be a hint that ladders are to be titted about on?
No titting about here! Gloom is stabilizing the ladder, and Lottie is secure with her center of gravity over the ladder and both hands on the glasses frame.
Indeed. Ironically all the titting about appears to be happening sans ladder…
New site design for a new year of Solver! I’m pleased to see that Mildew rates a masthead head. She’s my favorite mystery girl, except when one of the others is.
Mildew has always been my favorite too.
