As we saw in the second to last strip in the last story, Lottie was already putting her barista skills to good use.
Maybe she wants to recruit Fizz as a member of the team… that would be amazing.

My neighbor got kicked out of two different roller derby leagues for “unnecessary roughness.” That takes talent. So she took up Brazilian jiu-jitsu, but that didn’t last either.
I hope she’s your friend. Because have her as an enemy seems kinda dangerous.
Fizz! I’m irrationally attached to Fizz, and incidentally Fizz is a better Gladiator name than it has any right to be.

I’m happy to see Fizz again and discover how strong, athletic and ruthless she is. But trying to understand Lottie’s movements: she said hi to her mother, then went to the roaster asking to get her job back, for the few days she’ll be here, and then she’ll go to dinner with Shelley. Or is this already the next day and we skipped their dinner?
