CHRISTMAS SPECIAL starts Monday
The final part of Solver volume 2 starts on Monday. Subscribers to my Patreon (in the Early Reader tier and above) will be able to read it as a PDF on Sunday morning. This chapter completes a little trilogy and has plenty for long time readers as well as newcomers to the franchise.

He’s got a present! It’s down on the left. It looks like a bottle of something but, who knows. I gave a friend a bottle-shaped present for christmas once “oh, you shouldn’t have” (not a drinker)…it was actually a jar of tahini and a tin of chick peas. He was a big fan of hummus.

Oh so many teases in these tree ornaments! Of course we got Mildred, Pepper, and Shelley, we’ve got Shauna, Linton, and…GASP is that Sonny?! And…Double GASP Jack?!! Back to his proper space-time continuum?!! Oh I so hope this Christmas Miracle Tackleford Mystery Teen reunion will come true!!…As well as whatever that disturbing creature is on the bottom-right branch.

As I said… I think… I had to do some minis for autumn/winter conventions so the last three chapters of Solver volume 2 got pushed later and later. If you take out Savage Sword of Susan and NEMS, this would have run at Christmas.

The worst part is that when you said yesterday that the Christmas special would be ebginning in April, somehow my mind decided that meant a three month hiatus. I have reached the stage where all time is one time to me. Reality is a flat circle, the world is nature’s perfect four dimensional Timecube.

The ornament that concerns me is the fire truck. Sure, it could be a long-standing family decoration in the Little household, but if things don’t go the way Claire seemed to hope in the last strip, well…
I for one am looking forward to Glam meeting Claire’s terrifying fire-dad. And maybe someone other than Linton noticing Jack is missing. And the obvious Pepper/Super Derek crossover so clearly alluded to in the ornaments. We know the fans have been clamoring for it and it is the power matchup of a generation, but a bit on the nose, Allison.
Agghh, you jinxed us! We had +21° C in Saskatoon on Tuesday, now we have -6° C and a white-out blizzard.
