It’s been doing that to me every time there’s a new page lately. Once I’ve signed in, I don’t need to sign in again for other comments on the same page, but I do on the next page.

Lottie is always so good with children. This page is so sweet, colourful, full of happiness. The contrast with the last panel make it even more funny.

Nonono. A spirtle is a traditional Scottish rod-shaped tool used to stir porridge. She’s going to tell her how the Bee Gees made their oatmeal.
God dewther = goddaughter- Lottie is Peggy’s godmother, I believe.
That’s how I interpret it too.

I have a theory that Jack’s time kafuffle means that everyone in the here and now remembers having just seen Jack the other day, but nobody actually sees him or knows where he is!
Of course none of my theories have been correct so far, so don’t hold me to that… I reserve the right to call “Nailed it!” no matter how far away my guesses were
Has Lottie actually mentioned Jack lately? Perhaps she actually does not remember who he is, thanks to Time Hijinks, until she sees him and it all comes back suddenly

Goodness, how old is Peggy? I’m guessing she’s a precocious 5 year old by now (she definitely has her mother’s smarts and intuition). Also happy to hear that Jack is back in proper space-time! I’m sure 1990s Shelley got him back in an elaborate scheme involving a time machine converted from a BMW and a cable timed to a historic ray of sunshine striking the Tacklford clock tower.

It’s only been a few years since the end of Bad Machinery, Peggy being born not long after
Peggy turned 4 a month or so ago.
The epilogue of “Into the Woods”, in which Mordawwa uses her demonic powers to inform her sister that she’s pregnant, was set in February, which would put Peggy’s birthday in November, or maybe October.
Peggy was a babe in arms at her baby shower at the end of “Hard Yards”, which was on December 18th, a week before Sonny’s 16th birthday. It’s currently Christmas Eve, the day before Sonny’s 20th birthday. So it’s four years and six days since the end of “Hard Yards”, and Peggy was born maybe a month before that.

Probably it’s for the best Rev. Penrose left. I don’t know how much he could take of Lottie’s mangling of the First Christmas story. Since he’s an Anglican I’m sure it would be mildly irritating at the least.
I think Reverend Penrose regards Lottie as a fellow soldier against the forces of darkness, so he would probably try his best to be tolerant of her idiosyncrasies, regardless of their nature.
Maggie’s proximity has probably built up his tolerance for mildly blasphemous nonsense to near-immunity

I always assumed that Cucumber Castle was in roughly the same geographical vicinity of Clopper Castle.
