It’s been a long time since Lottie and Jack shared a smoke.
Jack has clearly been through the wringer! But at least he’s not stuck in the 90s any more. Or is he? That question is probably too complicated to ever answer in comic form, sorry. Some pilots are always just going to be pilots.
The torment of Linton has been going on for a long time. It’s his business, ladies!!!
That’s a really nice Lafufu.

Let me be frank: the mystery team reunion is the main reason for this issue. It is a little treat for the long-time reader. I can’t answer every question in a few pages. But I needed you to know they were all still intact.
One of my favourite parts of living where I now live is riding the bus through Headingley, where many Leeds students live, and enjoying the fashion safari. The way lads look now is just priceless. The proliferation of Kentucky mountain mullets, the fashion confusion, it’s beyond brilliant. Paul Mescal has a lot to answer for. I could have given Jack a terrible little moustache but it was just too horrible when I tested it.
What has Blossom Cooper done to her foot? I think this question will be answered. There’s a character you never thought you’d see again.
A rare appearance for Shelley’s dad and Peggy, her daughter. And Paul Scoville. Actually, Paul Scoville appearances haven’t been all that rare, recently, have they?
It was nice to draw Shelley in this comic, though it’s always a little tricky to factor in a. how old she is and b. how slowly she ages. She’s not like normal people, after all. She’ll outlive all of us.
Fizz! Old minor characters never die, except when they do die. No one likes Lottie more than Fizz.
Rob looks down but maybe there could be a smile in his future. Not in this story though. There wasn’t space to make him merry. There wasn’t even space to make a very nicely drawn scene-setting panel bigger than a postage stamp.
When Claire finally came along, we have to imagine that the storeroom was running very low on raw materials, so they concentrated on finish rather than volume.
