Are you catatonic?
This comic has reminded me that I made this comic after watching the Death Note anime. Lottie’s persona here is very influenced by Death Note’s detective protagonist L. My idea was just that she’d watched Death Note at some point and decided that this was the way forward. I really enjoy her pose in panel one, and the thrill of a Dutch angle in panel three. Had I ever done a Dutch angle before? Don’t go looking. It doesn’t matter.
The Death Note detail is such a delight, given that a few years later we actually get to see a younger Lottie soaking it up in Giant Days #35. Love it!
In “Lonely One”, which was the case right before this, we got Corky trying to explain the plot of Death Note to an inattentive Shauna. And of course, later, in “Missing Piece”, Blossom called Lottie “gender-swap Death Note”.
The accidental willy sighting happened, of course, in the The Case of the Simple Soul.

I think it happened like five minutes ago.
It’s possible she was referring to that, but there does seem to be a well-draped bit of sheet providing Hugo some modesty (in the last panel, at least).
Maybe not from Lottie’s angle!
