Lottie has quite the insight into adult emotional relations.
Lottie’s understanding of emotions is peerless as it relates to mysteries, questionable as it relates to her own life.
I keep getting a popover from scarygoround.substack.com complaining about being unable to load a page. If I hit “OK”, it goes away and the page works fine, but it happens every time I load a page here, which gets old very quickly. It’s only started doing this in the last week. It doesn’t do it on the scarygoround side of things.
I’m not getting that even with all ad and tracker blocking turned off.
I’ve had that a few times too, with a couple of different sites. For instance, it did that to me with Girl Genius this morning. I usually wait a few minuets and all is well.
A few minuets? If I was more clever I would make some sort of classical music joke. But alas……

You’re gonna do that to me for a typo? That’s just mean. (Sometimes as a touch typist my fingers get ahead of me, and spell check doesn’t catch correctly spelled words even if in context they’re wrong.)
This exchange reminds me of where the typos og here. (Btw, while Og may be SFW, many of that author’s other works are not… though it doesn’t seem there are any direct links to those other works)

Lottie has leveled up, and has gained an interior monologue self-editor! Some people NEVER achieve this.

Linton would have been a very small child at the time of this flashback, so that could only be him if there was time travel involved (which absolutely does not rule it out, given the many temporal shenanigans we have seen in this universe so far).

Looks like Harald (interesting spelling) was using Minty as his model. I wonder if she knew that.
He was,apparently, taking their “just fun” relationship more seriously than she.
“Harald”‘s the Scandinavian spelling. Like Harald Hardrada or Harald Bluetooth.

For those who aren’t aware, while Harald Bluetooth didn’t invent the Bluetooth standard, it is actually named after him. The Bluetooth icon is a combination of the H and B runes in the Younger Fuþark.

Polyanna is only 21 or 22? And Derek suddenly realized that where he’d seen her before?
Pills at the crime scene? Polyanna’s pills?
What if she’s the daughter of Judy/Hugo, who Hugo never was told about, and killed Daddy for dumping Mom?
And what of the fake red nail that Lottie found, along with the pills?
Things seem to be pointing to Polyanna as the culprit, but maybe that’s what Mr. Allison wants us to think!
