What is BLIGHT about?  Why did Destroy History take more than a decade to “really get going”? Why is Esther riding a cow? Isn’t “blight” on potatoes not beeves? All of these questions will be answered.

Like all my projects, Destroy History was thinly conceived and required a certain amount of actual pages to be made to start to make sense to me. When I try to do things the opposite way round – to pre-build things in the woodshed until they’re ready to emerge, it never works. It takes making something – staring at each page for 3-4 hours as I draw it, dozens of dozens of them, day after day – to fully connect me to a story and its characters. I can’t play the game in my head.
