From the title, I’m guessing this is going to be the comedy harem manga to which Claire is simultaneously the central character and completely oblivious.
I love the cleverness of that “Little Days” title- simultaneously inverting “Giant Days” while referencing the name of one of our protagonists. First class wordplay. My hat’s off to you, John.
Will there be a 2025 Top Twenty albums list, from Dr. Ladysounds or otherwise? I eagerly peruse them every year to see how many I own (typically between 5 and 10)
I eagerly peruse them every year to see how many artists I’ve even heard of (typically between 0 and 1). I long ago concluded that John Allison comes from a different and more musically advanced universe than I.
Surely he must be. But his superpower as an author is to conjure things into existence that previously did not exist, as if they’ve been around all along.
FWIW, upon review of historical records (so to speak), it looks like my estimate of “5-10” as a typical number is being heavily affected by the earlier years of his lists, which makes sense, as I have had decades now to subsequently happen upon and buy some of those which I may not have been aware of at the time they came out (or, to be fair, I might not have been able to afford at the time).
For more recent years, it’s been more like 3-6 that I own and another couple that I’m already aware of and interested in.
I’ve never got my head around whether there should be an apostrophe in Season’s, or Seasons’, or perhaps the greengrocer’s (greengrocers’) apostrophe in Greeting’s
But given my current stress levels (level’s) the season can just jolly well sod off – I am looking forward to Seasons’ Farewells
Have a lovely rest time John!
Why didn’t they invite Glock to hold the banner 🙁
Garf is back in NZ, enjoying his seasonal prawns and pavlova.
Merry Christmas!!!
Happy holidays to everyone! Can’t wait to see the Solver trio again.

Semi-relatedly, I’ve been reading enough manga recently that I first read the banner Claire and Lottie are holding as “Greetings Seasons”.
I knew that starting publishing “Solver” on Web Toon would have consequences! Welcome teen love comedy drama!!!

Have a happpy Crimble and a Gear New Year!

Posted on Patreon on December 18!
I’ll post it up here before the end of the year, don’t worry.

Same here.
John A’s top twenty list serves as an annual reminder of the paucity of my musical taste.
I’m still not entirely convinced John isn’t making some of those bands up.

Merry Christmas! Looking forward to the next Solver, I’m sure we’ll have a lot of fun!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year John!! Rest well and I look forward to seeing the Solver crew again!
Many joyous returns Mr. A!
Thanks so much for another fabulous year of fun and excellent art.
Greetings from the land of “virtue, liberty, and independence”, that is 5 hours behind you.
I hope you had a Merry Christmas and will have a happy and prosperous New Year
May the happiest day of your past be sadder than the saddest day in your future.

This picture had an apostrophe on the pencils but I lost confidence when finishing up the inks!
Apostrophes (or even Apostrophe’s) in vertical text are always a conundrum. They look wrong whatever you do.
Happy New Year, John! Thanks for being a consistently bright spot during a decidedly iffy year!
Happy New Year! I hope all of you who are already in the new year are enjoying it, and all of us who haven’t got there yet enjoy it when we get there.
