A lot of firewalls
This page gave me a few things to think about. A rare one where it was almost all worked out in the rough, thank goodness.

Nonsense, Grem. All minigolf courses are meant to be played in reverse order as you putt from the greens onto the walkways.
Maybe they’re not playing right, and that’s why the giant skull-in-the-mud is giving Glia the side-eye.
Claire hasn’t lisped this much in years. She must be really agitated by this Nero thing.
I think the mostly feels bad for Girb. He did rearrange his entire life around Lottie and this whole “solving” thing.
And to think she was so happy to see her friend in love… For me she’s worrying too much.
She’s agitated by how close she’s getting to Glynnis
Right, it’s Nero that has her agitated. While on her date with Gwin.
Claire is so worried to not notice the fact they are playing in revererse. She sure is worried fir Glenn, but she’s also worried that Lottie may be too in love for her
She’s definitely worried about Glenn, but she’s also worried that Lottie might be too much in love and risk losing sight of her dreams. If Lottie wil do that, she’ll surely end up regretting it. Claire doesn’t want Lottie to suffer.
Pour one out for Glam today, as his favorite Prime Minister has stepped down
The red stuff “pouring” onto the ice cream was reminding me of something I couldn’t place. I just realized it: the scene in Dead Alive with the custard.
I want to play this course so bad.
Blehhhhhhhhck. 😫
I think the rule is that it has to start with a “G”.
Speaking of ice cream cones with threatening auras, this also reminded me of an ice cream place in my hometown with a mascot that is truly, as my brother put it, Lovecraftian: https://www.reddit.com/r/creepydesign/comments/aq7guk/disturbing_ice_cream_mascot/
Dripping, shambling fun!
I love this drippy ice cream avatar
That ice cream cone raises questions. Questions like, are its teeth uppers or lowers?
Ehhhh, close enough, Grommit
“Claire, I don’t think we’re playing this right.” I don’t think Glim just means the course.
Lots of great old school Marvel energy in this strip!
My first date ever was to a minigolf course. I don’t recall playing minigolf, although of course we did – for all I know, we may have played the course in reverse…
If playing golf that way is wrong, then I don’t want to be right.
I believe I’ve played mini golf courses in reverse order with intent before. They were occasions where we had at least two groups, so we started from opposite ends of the numbering to avoid waiting for one another.
Do Crazy Golf courses have a “rough” (or hrough)? Or is is just part of the walkway that hasn’t been swept??
No roughs. Every hole is an extended “green”.
If you go out-of-bounds, usually off the green onto the walkways or into the scenery, you may take a drop six inches from the place where your ball exited the course for an additional penalty of a stroke, or – if you are a person of true adventure and madness – “play it as it lays”.
every once in awhile they will have a rough, but what it usually is, is an obstacle around say a narrow passage or something to punish you for striking too hard to get to the hole. The path of the ball to the hole is on green though, because the ball is supposed to roll rather than fly.
That was a Mr. Bean episode, wasn’t it?
That rough wrangling’s paid off though – this is a good bit of layout-faffing. I do have a weird compulsion to play Snakes and Ladders now, though…
That giant crocodile about to bite Glem’s butt reminds me of a holiday I had in Florida where the gift shops sold postcards of scantily clad women bending over with an alligator, jaws open, apparently about to do the same to the lady. Weird! I sent the cards to all my friends in the UK with various alcohol induced captions which probably seemed funnier at the time.
In fact here’s one –

So I didn’t dream it after all.
Growing up in Tampa I loved artistically defacing those postcards. Carefully lifting the alligator off with an X-Acto knife to use on a different postcard, and then replacing it with some giant Gahan Wilson-esque horror menacing the poor model’s outthrust derriere instead
The suddenly unemployed alligator would typically be promptly put to work swallowing the Sunshine Skyway Bridge on a postcard of same.
Today’s panel features a disembodied hand, Little Claire, Girb, the Firebug, a skull with peepers, Glam, Glyn, Clairey, Claire Little, Glem, and Stealth Gator.
Magnificently drawn, John! I loved this.
Keep going until you’ve drawn a huge “Family Circus” style map of mini-golf adventures
“Worked out in the rough” — Dirty!! (Heh heh)
Play it as it lays, amirite?
This is a magnificent panel!
Hey, John! Time to deploy your immense webcomic fortune to a good and noble cause: https://www.nme.com/news/tv/you-can-buy-the-original-mr-blobby-costume-from-the-1990s-on-ebay-3384597
