SOLVER 9: BOYS LIKE FUN pt 1 starts Monday
“Boys Like Fun”, a thrilling new tale in two parts starts on Monday. I think you’ll enjoy this one. I’ve put everything into it. My $3 and up Patreon subscribers will be able to download part 1 as a PDF first thing on January 2nd.
Happy new year!
Ugh, we have to wait till NEXT YEAR?
As a boy, I can confirm we do like fun
I see cat heads among the background imagery. Will there be a feline presence in this story?
‘Zabaglione’ in there must be Nero cooking for Lottie?
Well, it is Number 9, and cats have 9 lives, so…
Whit a cover like this I’m hoping for a golf challenge between Claire and Glenn in which Glenn’s past as a young golf champion is revealed.
Happy New Year John and it looks like 2023 will be off to a good start! Claire and Glym playing golf on a weird midcentury Jim Steranko-inspired astral plane, can’t see anything going wrong for them!
Cats/Curiosity/Nine (lives)? It’s linear but just to get the ball rolling, so to speak…
It’s issue #9.
9 holes on the mini golf course?
1. “I think you’ll enjoy this one,: Given the track record, that seems like a pretty safe bet.
2. That “NUMBER NINE” on the cover makes me think of that obscure rock band Shelley Winters tried to save that time for some reason. What were they called? The N-Sects or something?
3. Is this the first SOLVER cover Lottie hasn’t appeared on?
4. I’m half asleep after my nephew’s birthday celebration, on the other side of the US from where I live, so I have no idea if I’m making any sense. Should I fear reading my own comment tomorrow morning?
2. I think the band was called The Besties, after the drummer or something.
5. You should always fear reading your comments the next morning, no matter which side of the country/globe/house you find yourself commenting.
“Boys? LIKE FUN.”
“Boys Like Fun?”
I’m calling them “Glaire” now.
Number 9, number 9, number 9, number 9…
Turn me on, dead man.
Who was the walrus?
Ahem. Mr. Allison. It’s girls who want to have fun.[1]

Question: If this cover marks the begining of Solver #9, can anyone name all previous 8 of them, in consecutive order?
Reading these in sequence with the bonus winter story, I expected the title page to say “Little Claire: SOLVER”
